Toronto's very own Richard Zeppieri stars in The Westies
This is real cool. I get to write a review of an actor that is an actual friend. Richard Zeppieri hits the screen in the series The Westies staring J.K. Simmons.
If you are in for Italian Mafia/Irish Gang movies this is an exceptional depiction of what went on in the 1980's in Boston.
Richard plays "Phil Apreda" a crime figure with the Gabino crime family. There is one scene where I crack up laughing when he is sitting at the table and I believe Goti tells a guy to relax and Richard says Yeah relax with some harsh vulgar language. Reminds me of many nights playing chess with this very talented actor who I have the honor of calling my friend.
The series is very energetic and has an absolute great cast. I highly recommend you watch it if your into crime and violence. Of course you can watch the series with STVIPTV service, so if you wanna watch all five episodes subscribe and enjoy.
